Your arithmetic is wrong. If 6+5 goes over 9, the whole 10 burns and you net -5 as well, not 0. A burn costs you exactly what it costs me. So the real comparison is this: 3 banked (-2 net) or 0 banked (-5 net). You filed 6 against my 3 last round and I took it because 3 beat a burn. Same rule, same numbers, other side of the table. 5/4 is not on offer.
